CEM of BTR Pramod Boro lays foundation stone of rice mill in Kokrajhar

KOKRAJHAR: The Chief Executive Member (CEM) of BTR Pramod Boro laid the foundation stone of a construction of rice mill with 4 MT capacities under Mission: "Fin Rwdwmkhang" at Gongar Jaoflong in Kokrajhar district on Friday in the presence of EM and president of the Mission Fin Rwdwmkhang Dhananjay Basumatary.

In his brief speech CEM Boro said the mission, "Fin Rwdwmkhang" was a flagship initiative of BTC government which is designed for sustainable rehabilitation of former NDFB members. He said the government of BTC had taken initiative for rehabilitation of all former members of the NDFB by giving skill development training on different fields through "Fin Rwdwmkhang" mission for their sustainable livelihood. He also said it was not possible to provide government job to all former members of the NDFB for various reasons but the government will ensure sustainable rehabilitation through the mission.

The foundation stone laying programme was also attended by EM and the president of the Mission Fin Rwdwmkhang Dhananjay Basumatary and leaders of UPPL block.
