The around-the-world Ocean Race has arrived in Newport for its only North American Stopover

Enjoy nine packed days of inspiration, education, special events and entertainment for the entire family.

Visitors to the "Ocean Live Park" will experience a boatload of interactive exhibits, experiences, photo opportunities and live music and entertainment.

Parking is $25 on May 13,14,17-21, $20 on May 15 & 16. (Thank You! Parking fees help Sail Newport's nonprofit organizationfund this nine-day event for the community's enjoyment!)

Boats that Fly!! Watch Racing and see boats up-close at the dockGet a first-hand view of five awe-inspiring IMOCA 60s – Boats that actually fly across the water and around the world. The boats will bedocked at Sail Newport in Fort Adams State Park and on view for the public.

Visit The One Blue Voice Immersive Experience, presented by 11th Hour Racing. Taking visitors on a journey to discover the race below. The multi-sensory show combines video, audio, and hologram to give guests a new perspective on the ocean and meet its unsung heroes.

Discover the Exploration Zone – presented by BankNewportMore than two dozen interactive exhibits on the ocean and the coastal environment and art activities. Experience the Sailing Station with knot-tying,sailing dinghies on display, try a block and pulley, steer a sailboat with a wheel and tiller, and see a navigation system. Visitors may also catch a seacreature or two for a photo op in the park.

Play outdoor games with the family – bumper boats, mini-golf, giant Jenga and more.

TRY SAILING! with Sail NewportExperienced skippers will welcome you aboard a Sail Newport J22 to see Newport Harbor and the Race Village from the water. No experience necessary, all ages invited. Lifejackets provided.
